Get ready to turn up the colour! Loud Shirt Day is happening on Friday 16 October 2026, and SCIP is excited to be teaming up once again with The Hearing House and our First Voice partners across Australia.

Loud Shirt Day is a fun way to bring friends, whānau, schoolmates, workmates, community groups and sports teams together to wear their brightest, boldest and loudest outfits — all while raising awareness and funds to support people with hearing differences.

Funds raised through Loud Shirt Day help support the life-changing services and programmes delivered by SCIP, The Hearing House and our First Voice partners in Australia.

What will you do to get LOUD?

There are plenty of ways to take part in Loud Shirt Day, whether you’re planning a big event or simply getting a few friends or colleagues involved.

Nick is going the extra mile

This year, Nick Jones, an Audiologist from The Hearing House, is taking Loud Shirt Day to the next level — quite literally.

Nick is running his first-ever half marathon at the Auckland Marathon to raise funds for Loud Shirt Day.

He’s set himself a fundraising goal and is inviting others to get behind him and support the cause.

Want to support Nick’s challenge? You can donate to his fundraiser and help him reach his goal.

Every contribution helps support the work of The Hearing House, SCIP and our First Voice partners across Australia.

Whether you’re running a half marathon, organising a sausage sizzle, wearing a colourful shirt to work or simply encouraging others to get involved, there are plenty of ways to get LOUD this October.

So, what will you do to get LOUD?
