Every year, with the support of our partner Forsyth Barr, the Southern Hearing Charitable Trust awards a $5000 scholarship to a cochlear implant recipient about to enter tertiary education. This year, a huge congratulations to the Southern Hearing Charitable Trust (SHCT) Scholarship Award Winner Jessica Haigh.
Jessica is studying a Diploma in Scenic Construction & Properties at Toi Whakaari: NZ Drama School in Wellington. Jessica wowed the judges with her creative work, which will be featured in the next SCIP newsletter. Jessica was presented her award at the SCIP Milford Chamber rooms on Tuesday last week, with sponsors Forsyth Barr in attendance. Well done Jessica!
